Rice bran oil has also been shown by research to improve cholesterol in blood by the general reduction in plasma cholesterol as well as triglycerides whilst having an increment in the HDL cholesterol. Rice bran oil has also been found to remain quite stable even when subjected to high temperatures hence measuring up to oils from corn, soybeans and cottonseed. About 18% of all rice bran extracted is rice bran oil, which results in an ultimate 12% composition of refined rice bran oil.
